If you're a VDOT employee the (free) Virtual Library Card is your key to requesting print resources from the library catalog.

DID YOU KNOW?
Your Virtual Library Card also allows you free online access (VPN is not needed!) to all of the library's subscription databases from any Internet-connected device, including mobile devices, your VDOT computer remotely, or your home computer. You can use it to:

1. Access articles or standards from full-text subscription databases from ANY connected device.
2. Read downloadable EBSCO eBooks or access "screen only" eBooks from databases like Skillsoft, Knovel, ASTM Compass or ASCE Library.
3. The library card also helps you authenticate through mobile apps from vendors like Knovel and EBSCO.

That's a powerful way to access more than 50 million electronic books, articles, standards and videos!

Just click on the database you want from the Library Catalog or our A-Z Resources List.  If you are on the VDOT network you'll go right into resources. If you are off the VDOT network you'll be prompted for your Library Card user name and password in order to gain access.

To Register for your card today:

1. Go to http://v92004.eos-intl.net/V92004/OPAC/Login.aspx and click "Get a Library Card!" at the top-right corner of the screen.

2. Please make sure to use your VDOT email address as your User ID! This is how we verify that you actually work for VDOT.

3. Fill in the rest of the required fields with the correct information and click "Register." You will receive your Username and Password via email soon after.

You should see a dialog box like the one below.  Fill it out with the required information and click the "Submit" button.
