The short answer is no, we do not purchase software for the library's collections (it is technically not possible for us to "share" the way a book is), though we do have large and diverse collections of books, articles, videos and more that deal with how to effectively deploy and use specific software applications.

But in terms of the software itself, all software requests, approvals, procurements and installations are outside the purview of the library. 

We recommend VDOT employees who need access to software work with their supervisors to submit software requests.
