Q. Does the library have any restrictions or limitations due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic?

Effective July 5, 2022, the VDOT Research Library has returned to normal operations as VDOT completes its workforce reconstitution. The COVID-19 pandemic is not over and we should stay vigilant about the health risks it poses, however, the library's hours of operation have returned to Monday-Friday from 8:30-4:30. We are closed on state holidays. 

We encourage all external visitors to let us know of your desire to visit us in advance by using this form to Schedule a Visit. Please describe your research needs as specifically as possible to ensure we have the materials to support your needs. 

All visitors must register at the front reception desk. VDOT employees should bring their employee badge.
