The Accuris Customer Academy link takes registered VDOT users to a series of e-learning modules or video tutorials, most of which do not apply to VDOT employees or to the kinds of content we have licensed through Accuris. Here's what the Academy looks like:
We selected Accuris to provide access to a handful of TIA and IEC standards because they are the ONLY authorized reseller of these standards, which means that Engineering Workbench is the only way we could provide VDOT employees direct access. So the e-learning modules (which are cumbersome to sit through, and which must be done sequentially) are not very helpful. Meanwhile the database is fairly intuitive to use.
However, the modules and learning paths are accessible and free to any VDOT employee who wants to utilize them.
